I reached out to Kelly. I told him everything from how upset I was about how he talked to me to how I just want to be his friend and be there for him. Break-ups are rough, point blank, but I’m friends with pretty much all my exboyfriends. If there was a mental connection at all, then chances are I’m still friends with them.
We ended up talking for a while and I think we’re going to be okay as friends. He was going through an exceptionally rough time when I broke the news to him that he needed to pay my mom back. I was still hurt that he reacted to me the way he did, but I know that people will act out of character under stress.
More another time.
